kj1852. Purpletip Sea Anemones (Anthopleura elegantissima). Normally dark green in color but these are white because they no longer have zooxanthellae symbiotic algae in their tissues. Also known as Aggregating Sea Anemones

lv426. Coral Wentletrap snails (Epitonium billeeanum) laying eggs on Cup Corals (Tubastraea sp.). This small snail also eats the polyps of the cup coral and acquires the orange coloration. This is an example of parasitism.

md150. Banded Coral Shrimp (Stenopus hispidus) acting as a cleaner shrimp for Spotted Moray eel by removing parasites and dead skin from eel. Shrimp provides regular dentistry services and skin cleaning for the eel, who in turn agrees not to eat the shrimp. Just hanging close to the aggressive, fish-eating eel means the shrimp will likely die of old age rather than as a meal to a passing fish. Both parties benefit in this relationship- mutualism.

mn800. Porcelain Crab (Neopetrolisthes maculatus), lives in symbiotic relationship with carpet sea anemone. Crab shelters among anemone's stinging tentacles, thereby gaining protection from nearby hungry reef fish. Crab benefits, anemone is likely neither harmed or helped. This is commensalism
